About the Business
As well as the standard fireplace hearth types above, we can also manufacture bespoke products. This includes fireplace surrounds and mantels as well as any type of setting for wood burners or gas fireplaces. We can also manufacture hearths and fireplaces from a wide range of different materials to the ones most commonly used. We manufacture our hearths from mainly two types of stone, Italian Black Slate and Black Zimbabwe Granite.
Italian Black Slate is the traditional choice, a soft dark grey/black stone with excellent heat tolerance. Black Zimbabwe Granite which is a much more hardwearing alternative slate, but with much the same appearance.
